Los Osuna

Three Osuna brothers emigrated from Spain in 1864 to the Mazatlán area. By 1876, they opened mezcal factory for commercial production and sales in Mexico and California. Even with this rich tradition of production in this area, Sinaloa has was excluded from the tequila and mezcal DO until recently. Today the 5th generation Osuna family continues to produce their mezcal, sin humo (without smoke). Los Osuna mezcal is made from Agave Tequilaña (Blue Agave) grown on their estate in Sinaloa.
